MAY 10th -- STILL CRUISING THE ATLANTIC

We have another ocean-day today.  Ocean-days and sea-days are totally different.  Ocean-days are very rough waters and difficult to walk on the ship.

I was going to skip this entry and then something very interesting happened.

The U.S. Coast Guard received a distress signal from a private yacht.  Our ship was the closest to their location so we have to go and offer aid to this vessel.
We have to go 40-miles off our course to reach their location.
We were about half an hour from their location and the U.S. Coast Guard gave us an "all clear".  They had made contact with the yacht and all was OK.

The ocean is really rough today.  Almost everyone, including Barry & I, stayed in our cabins today.  It is just too difficult to walk.  Also, I have to admit, I had a 3 Gravol day.😵😵  We watched The Godfather Part 2.

We are having dinner with Alice & Jim and Karen & Dave tonight.  We meet for cocktails in the Stars Lounge and our group for dinner expands to include Mark & Sandi and Karen & Andy.

After dinner we head to the Galileo Lounge for a "final final".🍷🍷
Yup, you guess it, once there...we were dancing!!

Marian, Lao, Karen & Alice -- The Dancing Queens

We can barely walk, it is so rough...but we were dancing anyway!
Another ocean-day tomorrow.
