APR. 12th -- SALALAH, OMAN

FYI -- Temperature is:  88°F/30°C

We were sitting on our balcony at about 10:00 this morning and we see 3 whales swim by the ship....they cleared their blow-holes so it was easy to find and see them.

We arrive in Salalah, Oman at 11:00 AM and we do not have an excursion today.  We are saving our energy for Israel and Egypt and are trying to get Barry clear of his cough.
Salalah, Oman is known for its frankincense and coconut exports.  Their beautiful beaches and coastline attract scuba divers and bird watchers.

We have a quiet afternoon out on Deck 10 by the pool.

We get a phone call at about 4:00 PM from Rich & Carol asking...are we OK?...haven't seen us around and do we want to join them for dinner?  We say "OK"...we are meeting them in Stars Lounge at 6:00 PM.

We have a fun evening and decide we'd all go to the show tonight!!!  It is singer/musician named Ollie Mulkeen.  We really enjoyed his show.

It was a very entertaining show.
We head back to our cabin after the show.
We have 4 sea-days before we get to Aqaba, Jordan.
