As it is a sea-day, Terry Bishop has a lecture at 10:00 AM. The Enrichment Lecture topic for today is "Oman -- An Empire -- Ancient & Modern". As Oman is a country I have never heard of, I am going to go and find out what's what. Barry is up and feeling good so he is going to go as well.
We are up at 7:00 this morning...all slept out, I guess.
We both get cleaned up (this takes a while these days) and as it is only a little after 8:00 when we're done, we decide to go to Compass Rose for some breakfast. We haven't done this since the Hirschmann's left the boat.
We sit down, have our coffee and I see something new has been added to the breakfast menu ... Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs...a favourite of mine. Perfect. We both order it and it is wonderful.

The lecture is informative and -- trivia fact: Oman is the only country in the world that the name starts with an "O".
Terry also gave us tips on how we should dress when going out on tours. We should watch what we wear as Oman is stricter than countries we have been to up to now. Women should wear loose clothing (no spandex), cover your shoulders, knees & ankles and your head & hair should be covered in the Mosques. For men, basically, it's no shorts!
We have a quiet afternoon.
We are having dinner tonight with Mickey and Richard from Chicago. We are meeting them in the Galileo Lounge at 6:00 PM.
