MAR. 23rd -- PHUKET, THAILAND

OK, the first thing we have to clear up is the correct pronunciation of this island.
It is pronounced POOK-ET ...and it is Thailand's largest island with a population of 320,000 inhabitants.

FYI:  Temperature is:  88°F/31°C  ðŸ˜Ž -- very humid
We docked here at 8:00 AM and depart at 5:00 PM

Barry & I are up this morning at 9:00 and I am feeling a lot better...my nose has stopped running.  We head down to Coffee Connection and I have my morning shot of caffeine.  We decide to go off the boat and check out the souvenir booths set up on the dock.

Souvenir shops/tents set up on the dock
We check everything out and Barry buys a t-shirt.

We head back to the ship and our cabin & lunch.

After lunch, we have a very quiet afternoon.  Barry sits out on our balcony and watches the water and naps.  I head down to the Navigator Lounge for a cappuccino, classical music and my book.  I haven't cracked a book in about 2-weeks.  Lovely afternoon.

At 6:00 PM Barry & I head to the Galileo Lounge as the Seven Seas Orchestra is playing American Classics.  We have a glass of Chardonney and listen for about an hour.

We head to Compass Rose and have a light dinner and then back to our room.
We watch part of the movie "Black Panther"( we'll watch the rest tomorrow) and then we are off the bed.
The clocks are set back 30-minutes tonight.
