MAR. 8th -- HONG KONG - DAY 2

We got up this morning and the weather conditions are about the same...still cool, still rainy and still foggy.  Oh well.  Sigh.

We are meeting Mike & Wendy at 10:30 AM...easy, peasy!  We've got this now.
Barry & I are going to the mall, when it opens, at 10:00 AM so Marian can get her Pandora charms.  I got one for Indonesia and one for Hong Kong.
This takes us about 45-minutes (crap -- we're late) but we get it done and I also made a quick stop at Estée Lauder for foundation.  Wendy finds us at the Estée Lauder counter.

Then we are off to the Peninsula Hotel.  Again, this is the only thing we are doing today -- eating & drinking -- and we do it so well.
We walk to the Peninsula as it is only 5 to 10-minute walk.

Here we are outside the Peninsula

Lovin' the glasses

We are too early for lunch so we go in and Barry & I have a coffee.
Then Hirsch has a Japanese beer, so Wendy & I split one and then Barry orders one.

Yum Sing! (Cheers in Chinese)
We finally go to lunch.
It is at "Goddis" and it is located on the first floor.

The restaurant is beautiful...they have French wines from their own vineyards in France...food is wonderful.  We had a great lunch.
Alas, all good things must come to an end.
We have to get Mike & Wendy to the boat (Regent picked up their bags this morning and took them to the boat) to get them registered, get their keys, etc.
This is all done quickly and easily.  We walk them to their room...their bags are there waiting for them -- Yay!! -- and leave them to unpack.
They have their safety drill at 5:00 PM so we decide to meet them at 6:00 PM for "Sail Away".  It is in the Galileo Lounge.  There is a band playing and a great view leaving Hong Kong by night.
We have dinner at 8:00 PM...I know, we shouldn't be hungry, right?  Well, we have a couple of appetizers and call it a night.
We are going to meet in the morning in our room at 8:30 AM and drink their bottle of champagne.

The clocks go back one hour tonight.
