MAR. 9th -- EN ROUTE TO VIETNAM

We have a sea-day today on our way to Vietnam.

We decided to "kick off" the Hirschmann's cruise with champagne in our room.  They are coming between 8:30 and 9:00 AM today.
We called Reddy and ordered the ice bucket for the champagne, some smoked salmon, pastries, strawberries and orange juice.  He will bring it to the room around 8:00 AM and also arrange to have the room cleaned up.
So, Barry & I get dressed and head down to the Coffee Connection about 7:30'ish AM and give Reddy about an hour to get everything set up.

So, we are sitting in the Coffee Connection and see the Hirschmann's walk by.
Remember, we set out clocks back one hour last night.  So, do you see where I'm going with this?

Mike and Wendy had been to our room, knocking on the door and ringing the bell and there was no answer.  It was 7:30 AM and we had already left our room.  But they did not set their clocks back, so, for them, it was 8:30!!
What a hoot.

So, they waited with us until 8:15 AM and we all went up to our cabin together.

Everything was all set and we popped that first cork and "YAY!!!...YOU'RE HERE!!"

Yum Sing!!! (Cheers in Chinese)

OK, it sort of gets a little messy after that.  We ended up having 4 bottles of Champagne!  OMG.
Afternoon naps were had by all.

FYI -- World Cruise Mileage:   Total miles of the World Cruise is 33,815
Half way in mileage is today:  March 9th, 2019, with 16,908
