JAN. 5th -- FIRST DAY AT SEA!!

So, this was our first full day at sea and we decided to explore the boat…

get the lay of the land (??), so to speak.

Found all the bars, restaurants, the pool, the walking track, the spa, etc.

There was a lot of napping going on today –

Tried a lounge on the pool deck, with a little blanket and that was lovely.

And then it was time for lunch, we did a walk around after that and low and behold we were back at our room and had, you guessed it, a little nap.

The was a “Block Party in the Corridor” scheduled from 6 – 7:00 PM.

What we did was, grab a glass and head out the door to the corridor outside.  We met our neighbours, had a glass of wine with them and visited.  It was very nice.  We met one other couple from Mexico City that are going around the world. This is their 5^thWorld Cruise.

At 7:00 PM we went to dinner.

After dinner we headed back to our room and on the bed was a jacket and t-shirt for each of us.  They are navy blue with “Navigate the World 2019” stitched in white on them. 

Nice.

There was a couple of size issues but we’ll fix that in the morning.

We turn our clocks back an hour tonight.

Early night.
