JAN. 10th --NAWILIWILI, KAUAI, HAWAII

Land Ho!!!
Got up this morning to see a beautiful sunrise and also see the island of Kauai.  The habour is named Nawaliwali...love the name.

We have a helicopter ride for over one hour, around the island, this morning at 10:00 AM...we leave the boat at 9:00 AM.
Ready to go...

You would not believe the number of WOW's and HOLY SHIT's there were.
It was a fabulous sight.  The island is beautiful with waterfalls, lush forests, beaches and a desert!  There is also an area that looks a mini-Grand Canyon.
The movies South Pacific and the first Jurassic Park were filmed on Kauai, as well as the opening scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark.
