We watched as we came into port this morning -- around 9:30 - 9:45 AM and while watched the island approach we saw a dolphin swimming alongside the boat. Cool.
First sighting |
We are scheduled to go on a Glass Bottom Boat this morning. We leave the ship around 10:15 and are on the glass-bottom boat for about an hour.
Heading out we see a lot of dolphins -- Barry saw 7 for sure...me, well I had a problem finding them at first, but I still saw a lot.
We saw a lot of sharks. The guides are throwing fish off the back of the boat (chumming the water) to attract the sharks. There are about 10 sharks circling the back of the boat, then the sharks would dive under the boat and we could see them through the glass bottom of the boat.
We saw a 7-foot Moray Eel and must have seen 1000's of fish.
All-in-all, it was a pretty fantastic morning.

It is hot as hell today...not complaining, just saying.
There was a "Block Party" in the corridor to meet our new neighbours at 6:00 PM. We go outside our door, with a wine glass from our room, and meet everyone while served wine and snacks. We met Fran & Pat from Florida, Greg & Jean from ??? and others but I forget their names.

You're brave souls... I wouldn't want to be that close to A shark, let alone many. Although the fish shot is Beautiful Marion. Enjoy
