OUR DAY IN LOS ANGELES

We walked Rodeo Drive and saw all the beautiful people and all the fabulous stores.

Shopping Baby!!

The Beverly Wilshire Hotel -- Remember "Pretty Woman"?

There were Rolls Royce’s and Ferrari’s everywhere.  We stopped for lunch at the famous deli, Nate N Al’s, and Barry recognized Roger Goodell, an NFL Commissioner and also Robert Kraft, an NFL owner of the New England Patriots.

Weather was a little cool – 60 degrees F/16 degrees C.
We got our 10,000 steps in!

The Cocktail Party for the Gala Event started at 6:00 PM and we got to meet all the other people that were going around the world. (Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of us but we were looking good.)

We were informed that a total of 155 people would be doing the World Cruise.
It was a lovely reception and we met a couple from Collingwood and 2 people from Toronto. Most of the people are Americans. Cocktail party was really nice – 3 pc. Combo playing, champagne, wine or cocktails and canapes were passed.  Dinner was @ 7:00 -- we had filet mignon, that was fabulous, and a decadent chocolate tart for dessert.  The dinner was followed by entertainment and then dancing.  Almost everyone got up & danced.

It was great fun.
