It's "Champagne & caviar day"...so, of course, we have that for breakfast.
We arrive at Fakarava at 7:00 AM. It is actually an "atoll" which is...a ring-shaped reef, island or chain of islands formed of coral (I had to look it up.). It's very small & rustic and we decide not to go ashore.

The ship is showing the football games today in the theatre on the big screen. That is starting around 10:00 AM and going until 5 or 6:00 PM.
There is a total lunar eclipse tonight. It is starting at 6:45 and is complete at about 8:45 PM. It's pretty cloudy out so I'm not sure how much we are actually going to see.
We have been invited to the Captain's Table tonight. We are sitting with the Captain, Aivo Palm and the Social Hostess, Sarah Hall. Dinner with the Captain was great. He has a wonderful sense of humour. There was one other couple with us at the table -- Deb & Tom.
Marian had Beef Wellington and Barry had Lobster Thermidor.
After dinner we head back to our room.
Have to pack a bag as we get off the boat tomorrow. We have an overnight at The Meridian, Bora Bora.
BORA BORA, BABY!!
Wow...show us how it's done! Looking forward to seeing Bora Bora!
