JAN. 28th -- DAY 3 AT SEA

We're up early and off to breakfast.  This seems to be our routine while we are at sea.

After breakfast we head to the pool deck where we write the Blog, read and nap.  It is a glorious day with fluffy white clouds, blue skies and a lovely sea breeze.
Barry heads to the card room for bridge at 1:00 PM.  When Barry played bridge yesterday, the first time after 30 years, he came in second!
I say in my "Blob" position.

Barry sights a whale off the side of the boat.  He sees the whale blow air from his blow-hole and a sees little bit of his body.  Cool.

We dress and go to the cocktail party sponsored by the Ensemble Travel Group and hosted by Diana & Mark Reuling.  There were about 30 people there and we met Annie & Bill from South Carolina.  They have a great story -- he was in the navy and stationed in Hong Kong.  He went on a tour of the city and Annie was his tour guide.  They were married 6-months later and have been married for 42 years.  So, naturally, they are going as far as Hong Kong and getting off there and staying for 6 weeks.  Annie still has family there.

After that, we head to the Compass Rose for dinner.
Sorry...no pictures from today so I'm just putting in something pretty.

We visit Pago Pago, American Samoa tomorrow.
