We got up early to see the sunrise and to watch the approach to Samoa. While we were out there, we heard music. There were 25 men & women, dressed the full Polynesian outfits, playing and singing and dancing our boat into port. This was at 6:00 AM!!! It was fabulous.
We go on an excursion called "Sheridan Beach Resort & Cultural Show". We board air-conditioned buses and see the countryside and arrive at the Sheridan Beach Resort (it's close to the airport). We spend some time hanging around the pool. Barry and I go into the lobby and "people watch"... we have nicknames for everyone. There are a lot of people on this excursion that we have already met.

There is a buffet lunch featuring island classics that includes 2 whole roasted piglets.
We then see a complete Polynesian show with hula girls and men dancers. Wow...the girls can sure move their asses!

Back to the boat.
We have dinner with William Gomez, the Executive Concierge. We are joined by Carolyn and Nick from Naples, Florida. We had a nice dinner -- lots of fun.
We are in Fiji in 2 days. We arrive in Australia on Feb. 9th, a little over a week from now and we are there until Feb. 22nd. Then it is north to Bali, Indonesia, the Philippines and the Hong Kong.
We turn our clocks back one hour tonight...Oh brother, what day is it?? ... what time is it??
